Dubrovnik (Croatia) to Venice - 10 Days

Day 1 - Join the Absinthe in Cavtat .
Very close to Dubrovnik airport - a very attractive small town .

Day 2 - Absinthe anchors off old Dubrovnik town  where guests are able to spend the morning touring the town.
In the afternoon we will steam up inside the islands north of Dubrovnik and anchor near Slano.

Day 3 - AM arrive at Mljet National Park. Here, you have the option of visiting a 12th Century church on the island and then steam off to the walled town of Korcula.

Day 4 - Early departure for Hvar. Anchor off in unspoiled waters with Hvar town as back drop with a view of the Napoleonic fort above town. Good restaurant , market and night life.

Day 5 - Arrive at the western end of Vis to visit the Blue Grotto and then move round to the eastern side to see the green Groto. Vis Island and the town are very attractive .

Day 6 - Early departure for Sibenik / Skradin national park with spectacular large waterfalls , rivers and outstanding natural beauty. Private local feast and entertainment is available here.

Day 7 - Mone onto Koranati National Park - spectacular array of islands with many different anchorages. There is a therapeutic mud lake here for your enjoyment!

Day 8 - Arrive at Brijoni - Tito's private islands. This area is well worth a look around. In afternoon visit Rovinj - Beautiful walled town with large Cathedral on a hill in the middle. Good bars and restaurants.

Day 9 - Rovinj - Venice. Spend a lovely evening in Venice .

Day 10 - Depart from Venice .

This itinerary can basically be reversed take it from Venice to Dubrovnik or departure from Split if only 7 days .

Kotor to Pula - 10 day trip

Day 1 - Join Absinthe in Kotor, a walled town older than Dubrovnik set at the head of a dramatic fjord-like inlet. Good restaurants.

Day 2 - Early departure for Cavtat, a pretty, small town near Dubrovnik. Guests go to Dubrovnik by car - a 20 minute drive - while the Absinthe completes formalities. Absinthe to anchor off old port Dubrovnik where guests rejoin by tender.

Day 3 - Dubrovnik to Mljet National park. Visit the 12th century church on island in the lake.
Afternoon cruise to Korcula a walled town.

Day 4 - Korcula to Hvar. Anchor off this attractive town with a view of the Napoleonic fort on the hill above. Good restaurants , market and nightlife.

Day 5 - Arrive off western end of Vis to visit the blue grotto and then onto eastern part to visit the green grotto. Vis island and the town itself is quite attractive.

Day 6 - Sibenik / Skradin national park with waterfalls , rivers , natural beauty. Private local feast and entertainment.

Day 7 - Koranati national park with a spectacular array of islands with many different anchorages.

Day 8 - Rab Island - attractive town and anchorage.

Day 9 - Early morning arrival at a beautiful bay on the Island of Cres. Afternoon journey to Bijoni - Tito's private island - that are well worth a visit.

Day 10 - Depart from Pula.
