Summary
Absinthe was
purchased with the purpose of transforming her into the ultimate expedition
vessel for exclusive charter guests. Carrying a helicopter with jet fuel
storage and refueling capability plus a mass array of tenders and toys, she
was intended for extended cruising periods from remote tropical waters to
extreme Alaskan winters, in comfort and style.
The interior has been
completely redesigned in a young and colorful fashion, without compromising
comfort. With all these major improvements and thanks to her unique design,
it's not surprising that this chic expedition vessel immediately became a
very popular yacht with charterers.

With fully-equipped U.S. Coastguard safety compliant helicopter facilities,
the 201-foot luxurious exploration mega-yacht, Absinthe offers access to
remote areas for exhilarating sightseeing and multiple outdoor activities. It is the ultimate holiday
platform for memorable odysseys on the seven seas.
Outside, a full range of sports and other activities are accessible with or
without the helicopter. The hospitality and amenities on board include the
jacuzzi and the professional massage service, the five-star gourmet cuisine
and, for those who wish, an outstanding wine and spirits list.
Absinthe's destinations are diverse, and change by season, often exploring
the splendors of inaccessible remote areas with all the comfort available on
one of the most exclusive megayachts available. A unique and enriching

Everything has been prepared, down to the last detail, to accommodate you in
a five-star tradition. The service, superb and personal, is provided by as
many as eighteen to twenty enthusiastic crew members for a maximum of twelve
guests - so we always have a ratio of no fewer than three crew members per
two guests. Our staff is specifically selected not only for their skills in
safety and service, but also for their welcoming and outgoing personalities.
Accommodations are sumptuous with a total of nine very comfortable
staterooms and cabins, including the owner's suite on the upper deck, five
king or queen staterooms and two junior suites.

Entertaining
To relax, you can enjoy
the hospitality of Absinthe 's two main teak sundecks and her large
hydro-jet massage jacuzzi, her spacious main room with dining area, living
area and the grand piano, her sky lounge with panoramic views and its
sundeck, her bar/game room, her lounge/media room, the private massage
service or the library with an extensive collection of CDs, DVDs and books.
Absinthe
's interior design is young and colorful. Rich fabrics,
original works of art and the latest technology surround the furniture in
perfect harmony. The ambiance is peaceful and casual.
Upper Deck Saloon - "Sky Lounge"
The Sky Lounge can be
changed in just a few seconds into a very large yet elegant second owner's
suite. 464 square feet (44 square meters) full beam, finished in natural
mahogany, king size Murphy bed (totally imperceptible when pulled up and
hidden in forward bulkhead), Persian style living area lavishly furnished
with love seats, sofas and settees, table/office area with sat/cel phone and
email/web access, private safe, mini bar, full stereo/DVD system with a 37"
(94cm) Sharp Aquos LCD flat screen TV, eight large windows. En suite
bathroom with large hydro jet massage Jacuzzi forward.
The sky lounge is
accessible from a staircase connecting the dining area, adjacent to the
massage room and it opens onto the upper sundeck with double French wooden
doors and a spectacular panoramic view.
Aft Upper Deck
The Upper Deck features an
impressive granite dining table with seating for 14 people for al Fresco
dining. There is ample seating area with Dedon design lounge sofas and long
chairs, wet bar and a deluxe 80-hydro-jet massage Jacuzzi for eight people
with fiber-optic lighting system, sound system, moveable wireless 22" (45cm)
Sharp Aquos LCD TV screen with CD/DVD player. Additionally, there is a
Barbecue and wet bar facilities adjacent to the dining area. Rattan
furniture with neutral cushions and the Brazilian river stone granite table
blend in harmony with nature.
Massage Room
It is adjacent to the sky
lounge, finished in natural mahogany, with professional massage table,
pedestal sink, phone and DVD player.
Main Saloon
Library
The library is finished in
natural mahogany, with extensive shelving for selection of books, DVDs, CDs
and games. Complete working computer station and printer with sat/cell phone
and email/web access. It is also the location of the Media Max server with
almost unlimited storage capacity of DVDs, CDs, and photographs. Furnished
with game table and four lounge chairs. Presence of the Van Gogh statue in
memory of the notorious painter who regularly drank a liquor made out of
Absinthe to stimulate his creative senses (without knowing his creations
would one day be among the most acclaimed chef d'oeuvres of the history of
art!).
Media Room
The media room is finished
with light sand accent wood paneling, fully equipped with very large Sharp
Aquos 45" (94cm) LCD flat screen TV, complete independent theatre sound
system and video game station. Behind the burgundy theatre curtain with
dragonfly patterns sits an extensive modular Royal blue ultra soft leather
chesterfield. Displays featuring worldwide finest selection of teas,
coffees, fine Armagnac and Cognac.
Dining Room
The dining room is
finished with light sand accent wood paneling, seats up to 18 people at two
antique wood tables; the round table for more intimate dining for six and
the large rectangle one for more than 12 guests. The elegant spacious
dining area has a disk clavier Yamaha baby grand piano, 400-bottle capacity
wine cellar and is peppered by burgundy nautilus design dining
chairs. Details include Puiforcat silver flat ware, Bernardaud Limoges fine
porcelain and Riedel crystal glasses are delicately aligned, protected by
velvet covered custom made drawers and cabinets. The dining room opens to
the bar with sliding French doors.
Bar
The Bar is finished with
light sand accent wood paneling, L shaped lit counter bar topped with yellow
travertine marble, curvy shape sink, Carousel design lounge chairs,
asymmetric love seats and work of art coffee tables give this salon a real
trendy feeling. An invitation for an entertaining evening with all the
practical storage including large capacity refrigerator, extensive custom
made cabinet displays for alcohol decanters and cabinets for glasses. A 37"
(94cm) Sharp Aquos LCD flat screen TV is on forward wall.

Aft Deck
The aft deck has intimate
comfortable seating area around coffee table with another moveable wireless
22" (45cm) Sharp Aquos LCD TV screen, an outdoor gym with stationary
exercisers and two staircase going up to the upper deck.
Dining
Savor the delicate and sophisticated cuisine prepared by two passionate and
renowned creative chefs. These two "Wizards of Fine Cuisine" never stop
creating inventive dishes which pay tribute to a whole range of regional and
exotic produce. Blending culinary traditions with modern innovation, they
are always able to draw the most subtle flavors from the ingredients used to
delight even the finest and most critical palate.
For those who wish, an outstanding wine and spirits
list containing hundreds of selections from all over the world is available
on board. This well-stocked wine cellar also conceals an excellent selection
of rare and prestigious wines, with some exceptional vintages.
The Cabins
Staterooms are sumptuously
decorated with some antique pieces of furniture with rich and colorful
upholstery. All windows and portholes are dressed with Royal blue draperies
adorned with gold embroidery piping, doubled with "voile de jour". Unique
hand made silk Persian rugs scattered on the smoked oak floor embellish the
warm and luxurious décor. Herbeau from France, Pompadour collection bathroom
accessories featuring Gargoyle faucets reign on hand made carved pewter
counter tops.
Finest Sferra Italian
linen, Canadian white duck hypoallergenic duvets and pillows, ultra soft
pearl Minky dots velvet bed covers with a multitude of well stuffed assorted
cushions, "Super Pile" thick bath drape and towels Collection by Abyss and
Sferra Italian bathrobes have been meticulously selected to guarantee the
finest luxurious comfort.
Each
stateroom has his personalized padded headboard covered with thematic "sea
to sky" fabric; a wink on Absinthe's ability to explore the world from the
ocean as well as from the air with the helicopter. Inspired by the famous
Metamorphosis by M.C. Escher, each headboard represents an element coming
from the sea gradually metamorphosing into a flying creature.
