St Maarten & the Virgin Islands - 14 Days
DAY 1 - ST MARTIN. ILLE FORCHE - 2 hr.
Your Caribbean adventure will begin by meeting your yacht in St. Martin -
the half Dutch, half French Island that bustles with lively activity in the
towns and resorts that dot her coastline. If you want to take in some
sightseeing or shopping, the yacht can linger here as your floating hotel,
or We can slip out of the cairn waters of Simpson Bay harbor and spend the
evening anchored off of uninhabited Ile Forche.
DAY 3 - St Barts
Most guests choose St. Bart's as one of their favorite Caribbean islands, so
we've allowed for a two-day visit here. Rent a mini Make and take a land
tour of this pristine island.
DAY 4 - St BARTS - NEVIS - 5 hrs
The peaked island of Nevis is the playground today - where a well-chosen
anchorage wilt be the epicenter for a host of fun activities. The crew can
make arrangements for either a hike up the volcanic crater, a scuba dive in
pristine waters, a golf outing, or just a lazy daiquiri sipped on deck.
DAY 5 - NEVIS - St KITTS - 1h30 mins
A leisurely morning cruise past the scenic islands of St. Kitts and St.
Eustatius will bring us to Saba - a scuba diver's paradise. The nondivers
may decide to take lunch ashore and enjoy the views from higher elevation.
DAY 6 - SABA - VIRGIN GORDA - 9 hrs
On a rare overnight cruise , we 'll relocate to the British Virgin Islands
while you sleep snugly in your stateroom and you'll awake to have your
morning coffee with a view of The Baths of Virgin Gorda. These natural rock
formations are fun to explore and you may want to pack a picnic lunch to
enjoy ashore. After lunch, we'll head to North Sound on Virgin Gorda.
DAY 7 - VIRGIN GORDA - EUSTATIA SOUND - 1 hr
It's going to be beautiful weather, so we'll stay in place for snorkeling in
nearby Eustatia Sound. In the afternoon, the yacht will find some seclusion
in Guana Islands, White Bay where the captain will drop anchor and you can
enjoy the impeccable service of our dedicated crew.
DAY 8 - GUANA ISLANDS, WHITE BAY - GREEN ISLAND - 1 hr
After a quiet breakfast, today's destination is the much beloved, Jost Van
Dyke. On the way, however, we must make a stop at Green Island - which is
the vision that you probably had in your dream - a small pile of sugar white
sand with a few idyllic palm trees.
DAY 9 - JOST VAN DYKE
After a day of snorkeling, beachcombing and deepening your tan around Jost
Van Dyke, you'll have the chance to make a visit to Foxy's beach bar - where
fellow cruisers gravitate to dance barefoot in the sand to the sound of
Calypso music and a refreshing potion of rum punch.
DAY 10 - JOST VAN DYKE - TORTOLA - 1 hr
If you are ready for a little more action today, we can head for Road Town
on the island of Tortola where there are plenty of Caribbean-style
diversions. Later in the day, we can head over to Peter island, whose
generous bay makes a great anchorage and offers another great opportunity to
relax on the hook.
DAY 11 - TORTOLA - COPPER ISLAND - 45 min
We'll head back east today and make a short run to Cooper Island where we
can set anchor and organize a diving trip to the wreck of the Rhone. We'll
watch the weather and the captain will decide a good departure time to
relocate to our next destination
DAY 12 - COOPER ISLAND - ANGUILLA - 8 hrs 30 mins
Our arrival at Anguilla will necessitate a visit to customs and then we can
enjoy the natural beauty of this island. One of the options may be to head
to uninhabited Dog Island for some beachcombing and snorkeling. Depending
upon your party's preferences, you can seek enjoy the island night life, or
keep it private out on anchor.
DAY 13 - ANGUILLA - St MARTIN - 1 hr
As we say goodbye to Anguilla, the yacht will make a 2-hour passage to St
Martin and anchor off the French side of the island where the charms of the
town of Marigot will be a lovely place to spend your last evening of the
charter.
DAY 14 - St MARTIN
The chef will surely prepare something special for your farewell breakfast
on board. If the crew has done their job properly, you will be sorry to see
this journey's end.
