Summary
Originally launched in 1979 from the De Vries shipyard in The Netherlands, a
member of the highly regarded Feadship group, this 53-meter boasts the best
possible heritage. Classic Feadships are widely considered among the most
beautiful yachts afloat and Elisabeth F, which displays the traditional
attractive lines of this breed, is an exceptional example. Recently, a
particularly inspirational refit under the guidance of a young yet highly
experienced owner extended the yacht's length by 4.5 meters, increasing the
size of the deck spaces and creating a new aft bathing platform and water
sports center.
At the same time of the refit all of the yacht's mechanical and electrical
equipment was completely overhauled, deck spaces were refurbished and the
interior comprehensively redesigned to create stylish modern living areas
that incorporate every state-of-the-art amenity demanded by discerning
charter guests. Elegant to the eye and in perfect condition, Elisabeth F is
acknowledged to be among today's best examples of a fully featured family
charter yacht.
Fine Points
Outdoor Entertaining
Top Deck
The essence of life afloat is the enjoyment of the open air and the
surrounding seas, and Elisabeth F's decks permit this to the full. Totally
private, the sundeck offers an array of cushioned sun loungers, a
Japanese-style teak hot tub and a selection of gymnasium equipment, while
forward-facing pilot chairs provide the best of views and a cooling breeze
when the yacht is underway. One deck down, the huge expanse of the boat deck
unites with the semi-enclosed deck saloon to create a true indoor-outdoor
living area, where dining for up to twenty guests, comfortable lounging, and
even an open air cinema are all on offer. This is surely the yacht's most
popular hangout.
Outdoor living surrounded by spectacular views of shore and ocean is one of
the most attractive features of life afloat, and Elisabeth F supplies this
in abundance and with impeccable taste.
The particularly large aft portion of the upper deck opens the possibility
of entertaining large numbers but it is equally suited to intimate dining
beneath open skies or shaded beneath an awning, while by night it can be
transformed into a spectacular open-air cinema. Its appeal is hugely
widened by it’s seamless union with a stylish semi-enclosed lounge that
offers a bar, television and casual seating - an area that can be fully
protected with clear screens during extremes of weather.
Aft Deck
Another choice for alfresco dining and lounging is found just below on the
aft portion of the main deck where, down stairs leading to the large
swimming platform, there is almost effortless access to the water or a
tender. Practically equipped with an outdoor shower and a convenient toilet
and changing room, this is the yacht's fully equipped water sports center.
Alfresco dining against a panoramic backdrop – a Mediterranean-style lunch
for up to 20 guests perhaps, or sunset cocktails served from the bar in the
velvet warm air followed by a spectacular gourmet dinner - will be sure to
provoke lasting memories of your cruise aboard Elisabeth F. Alfresco dining
for more intimate groups, or when a degree of shelter from sun or wind is
necessary, is at its best on the aft portion of the main deck. Here, a
circular dining table, an open-air bar and a comfortable sitting area along
the aft rail where there is also a pair of coffee tables and an array of sun
loungers, make this a highly versatile entertainment area, as well as
perfect place to welcome guests to the yacht.
When water sports are under way, this attractive teak-decked area becomes
the heart and soul of the yacht, both for those participating and for those
who prefer to enjoy the activity from the comfort of the settees, while
keeping a watchful eye on the children. The bathing platform is just a few
paces away down a pair of wide stairs, and such ease of access ensures that
the full service bar sees plenty of action dispensing cooling drinks to
thirsty bathers.
Watersports
Elisabeth F carries a vast array of water sports equipment including a 2.8m
sailing dinghy, a pair of SeaDoo 3D watercraft (waverunner to be included)
that offer five different riding positions, two kayaks, and a 5m diameter
water trampoline, together with snorkeling and scuba gear, a SeaBob Aqua
tow, and every type of towed toy imaginable. Diving boards are fitted at
both bathing platform and upper deck levels.
Two identical Novurania Q series tenders powered by quiet running 150hp
Yamaha 4 stroke outboards are at your disposal for shore excursions,
sightseeing and water sports. Safe, comfortable and easy to control, their
power is ideal for towing water skiers and toys, while their easy-boarding
ability makes them perfect as tenders for scuba diving or snorkeling and as
safety boats for every occasion.
Interior
Modern and
sophisticated, Elisabeth F's interior is the height of contemporary
elegance.
Wide oak
floorboards contrast with stylish furniture and peaceful colors to create
the relaxed, airy ambience of an exclusive Caribbean hideaway, a theme
reinforced by the plantation-style shutters that screen the windows.
Whether guests
are enjoying a relaxed alfresco meal, enjoying a selection of tempting
canapés or dining in the more formal atmosphere of the ultra-chic
interior-dining saloon, excellence of cuisine is guaranteed aboard Elisabeth
F. The combination of a professionally equipped galley and a highly
experienced chef de cuisine will result in lovingly prepared culinary
masterpieces to tantalize each and every palate. Discreet service, high
quality china and crystal, together with crisp white table linen will
complete the experience.
Master Suite
Filling the
full beam of the hull,
the master suite is not only large but sumptuously clad with a silk carpet
and the best of fabrics and finishes to create a superbly relaxed and
restfully calm environment. A 52-inch LCD screen television with satellite
and DVD inputs and a computer desk allows the occupants to work or play in
the privacy of their own environment.
Adjoining the bedroom is a white stone-clad bathroom of crisp minimalist
functionality that is equipped with both a bath and a huge glass-walled
shower.
VIP Stateroom
Positioned on the main deck adjacent to the master cabin, the spacious VIP
cabin, adjoined by a modern en-suite bathroom, combines pale colors with
large windows to create a bright and airy environment in which comfort is
paramount.
Guest Cabins
The lower deck guest area contains a further six charming ensuite cabins:
two doubles, and four twins each with an additional pullman berth. As the
regulations only allow a total of 12 guests to be carried while at sea, this
gives the accommodation a high degree of flexibility, while also permitting
personal staff - who do not count against the guest numbers - to be carried
if required.
